A former Marine officer, Andy blends discipline with a sharp eye for under-appreciated Main Street real estate. Across the Fox Valley and Illinois region, he has identified neglected assets, leveraged municipal incentives, sourced capital, negotiated entitlements, and overseen construction — transforming historic structures into thriving mixed-use districts.
He specializes in adaptive-reuse and curated mixed-use districts, navigating complex municipal incentive frameworks (including TIF and RDA), and delivering developments grounded in design integrity, financial rigor, and long-term stewardship. Andy leads acquisition, master planning, and holds the strategic vision that aligns projects with community context and lasting value.

Suzanne Burns — Principal, Hospitality, Operations & Guest Experience
Suzanne Burns is co-founding Principal at Sightwell, responsible for hospitality operations, guest experience, and property management across the firm’s mixed-use and lodging assets. Raised as the 13th of 17 children in a creatively rich, music-centered family, Suzanne developed community-oriented sensibilities, resilience, and a strong interpersonal skillset from an early age. Her formative years were shaped by musical performance, artistic expression, and collaborative spirit.
After studying Sociology in college and exploring a variety of professional experiences, Suzanne brought her people-first orientation to Sightwell. She imbues each property with warmth, care, and attention — ensuring that every development feels like a home rather than just a building. She oversees guest services, maintenance, and operations teams, consistently delivering high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Her strengths in hospitality operations, guest relations, design sensitivity, and team leadership ensure that Sightwell’s properties not only stand out on paper, but thrive in real life — as places people want to return to, live in, or visit.
