Heritage Station

Reconnecting a Village with Its Story

Heritage Station isn’t just a project — it’s a chance to help East Dundee rediscover its roots and imagine its future.

We designed Heritage Station to be a catalyst for downtown revival: a place where neighbors gather, businesses thrive, and the arts bring new energy to Main Street.

At its heart, this project celebrates what makes East Dundee special: its history, its walkable character, and its potential to be a cultural and economic hub for the region.

What We’re Building

Heritage Station is a multi‑phase mixed‑use development that blends:

  • Heritage Row – 3‑story townhomes offering attainable urban living.

  • The Rail Flats – Boutique apartments over activated street‑level retail.

  • The Depot Shops – Curated retail and food & beverage tenants to drive foot traffic.

  • The Station House – A Sightwell‑branded boutique lodging experience.

  • Performing Arts Center – A civic and cultural anchor that brings new vitality to East Dundee’s downtown.

  • Public Realm Improvements – Walkable streetscapes, plaza spaces, and upgraded infrastructure to support long‑term growth.

Why It Matters

This isn’t development for development’s sake. Heritage Station is about:

  • Restoring vibrancy to the heart of East Dundee.

  • Creating a destination for residents and visitors alike.

  • Building momentum for long‑term investment downtown.

We believe Heritage Station can help East Dundee reclaim its identity as a regional destination, bringing people together for performances, dining, shopping, and everyday living.

Designing with Care

Heritage Station’s architecture draws inspiration from classic rail‑era buildings — a nod to the village’s history as a transit‑connected community.

  • Cream City brick with thoughtful detailing to reflect heritage.

  • Walkable streets and plaza spaces designed for people first.

  • Mixed‑use programming that blends culture, commerce, and community living.

This is a project that feels like it belongs here — built for today but grounded in yesterday’s character.
