When we first walked through 124 W Main, we saw what others had overlooked: a tired historic building with the bones to become something special.
This was our first adaptive reuse project — a test of our belief that Main Street properties can be more than relics of the past. We reimagined this underutilized structure as 124 Lofts, a boutique lodging experience that celebrates West Dundee’s history while meeting the needs of today’s travelers.
Today, 124 Lofts stands as a proof of concept: that well‑designed, right‑sized hospitality can drive foot traffic, attract visitors, and help restore vitality to a downtown district.
